The “Basic Dress” is not one single dress style.
Each Basic Dress is created by combining your chosen neckline, sleeve, and skirt styles, with optional add-ons available for an upcharge.

Length Note: Basic Dresses are calf-length by default. Knee-length dresses are available at no additional cost.
Full-length maxi dresses require extra fabric and add $5–$10, depending on size.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do custom orders take?
Most orders are completed within 3-4 weeks, depending on the season and design complexity.
Do I need to send measurements right away?
No. Measurements are only needed after you approve your quote.
What measurements will you need, and why?
After you approve your quote, I’ll send you a measurement form with instructions. I ask for several measurements because each garment is custom made to your unique size and preferences. Taking a few extra measurements helps ensure a better fit.
Can you recreate a dress from a photo?
Yes! Send inspiration photos, Pinterest links, or design ideas, and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
When do I pay?
Payment is requested only after you approve your quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept Zelle (instant bank transfer) or check/money order — using these payment methods help me keep my business independent and aligned with my values. (I don’t use PayPal/credit cards.)
Can I choose my own fabric?
Yes! You’re welcome to choose your own fabric, or I can help you find one that fits your design and preferences.
You don’t need to choose a fabric before submitting your request. After I review your ideas and send you a quote, we’ll discuss fabric options together.
Fabric choice can affect the final price, since some fabrics cost more than others.

What if I'm not sure whether I need a Basic Dress or a Fully Custom design?
Choose a Basic Dress if you’d like to customize the necklines, sleeves, and skirt styles shown in the drawings above. If you have a unique design, inspiration photo, or special features not shown in the drawings, choose Fully Custom. Still not sure? Select “Not Sure Yet” on the form, and I’ll help you decide.

My Modesty Standards:
I value modesty and created this business to bless like-minded ladies and girls. To keep all designs in line with that vision, I follow these style standards for custom orders:
- Necklines: max 2–3″ below the collarbone (see examples below), and max 1–2″ for girls
- Sleeves: no sleeveless or cap sleeves; sleeves must cover at least 5″ of the upper arm (see examples), and at least 3.5″ for girls
- Skirt Length: at or below the knee
